The devil would not try to scare you this much if you weren’t called for something greater than yourself.

Something more.

Because sin is easy.

Breaking promises is way too easy.

Keeping them, however?

That’s hard.

But so worth it.

This is where you need to be for the next thing to happen

Because building up doesn’t come suddenly.

It comes with strategy.

That line alone teaches what most people overlook.

I’ve always struggled with money and the idea of greed.

I’ve watched my family fall apart because of it.

Break—manipulate—steal.

Money is the root of all evil and I cried because I hated the idea of growing with an abundance of it.

But I knew I could use it to help others.

However, I also know I am human.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve been torn apart from others.

For some reason, things always work for you.

Or don’t and for good reason you realize later.

And for some reason, you feel you are favored by God.

Then listen to me real quick.

This isn’t just a feeling.

It’s a knowing.

God is compassionate.

That fear is not from Him.

God is love.

And through all those nights of screaming.

Of panic attacks.

The high bouts of anxiety that’s all I repeated in my head.

“God is love. God is love. God is love. God is love. God is love. God is love.”

Every time.

I reminded myself that He repeats constantly in the scripture.

Do not be afraid.

The struggles? Build us.

The challenges? Prove us.

The blessings? Remind us.

He is always here to help and protect those who seek Him.

Just close your eyes.

Press your hand to your chest and take in a deep breath.

Feel it.

He is near.

The understanding that you seek.

Because I know each day—I too fear but less and less and that there…

Is why I’m scared.

Imagine it…

You walk up to Him.

Frightened and broken.

You brace yourself for a scolding, but instead…

This…

He wraps His arms around you tightly and rejoices, “Finally! You’ve come home! Finally!”

I’m not saying they don’t try or pass me by—but that’s all they do.

Try and pass me by.

Because I do not participate.

I do not feed the devil.

He invites me to his table and begs me to eat.

God will not lead you astray—God will lead you with direction that aligns with who you are meant to be!

Because confession is not humiliation –It is liberation!

If God was saying one thing through all of this, it’s this, “You don’t have to hide from Me. I already know, and I’m still choosing you.”

All those people who have ever made me feel like I’m the bane of this world, I’m done.

I’m done with believing you.

Your words carry no weight over my heart.

My God is with me and I fear nothing.

Follow your commandments.

And in doing so we may live freely.

It finally all made sense.

Because before it never did.

How could someone live freely and be confined to rules.

This wasn’t about destiny in a dramatic sense— though that’s how it played in my mind.

No.

This is about recognizing your current position.

Your gifts.

Your influence.

Your voice.

You story.

None of it is random.

“Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” –Proverbs 31:30

What this means is more than what you read.

The beautiful things are not the worlds ideas of it.

Remember, you are being strengthened, aligned, purified, and prepared for the life you’re already stepping into.

You already know what’s true, in your heart, now live like it is.

Speak the words of truth.

It breaks His heart, you should know.

He does not like to see His children suffer, cry and limp of pain.

Torture and defeat. But you must know.

You must know.

God grieves.

He is telling you now, “You’re not losing time. You’re not behind. You’re not far off. I’m protecting you from the dangers you unknowingly would face if you entered this space before I am done.”

“But if you never knew you were chained, then how would you know that you could be set free?”
