Witness, I Knew You

Book of Jeremiah 1: 5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve been torn apart from others.

For some reason, things always work for you.

Or don’t and for good reason you realize later.

And for some reason, you feel you are favored by God.

Then listen to me real quick.

Stay with me right here.

This isn’t just a feeling.

It’s a knowing.

Because before you and I were born, God knew us.

God knew you.

You came into this world with a voice.

With a courage.

A strength.

A talent.

An oddity that separated you from others who folly in their sins and this world version of “normal.”

God has given you a specific voice—task and reason.

You have a purpose.

You exist to fulfill it.

Don’t let anyone silence it.

No one.

If God has not put out that fire burning in your soul for the greater good—or in my case a dream to write.

Then it is for reason.

God does nothing for no reason.

And you are upon His children to help others.

God has brought you and I here to be a testament.

To show the world that no matter how broken—God has delivered us time and time again.

I cried wondering why.

Why was I hurt so young as a child.

Why did the world cast me aside and isolate me?

Why did they leave me to die?

And then…

How did I survive?

How did I keep going?

How did I keep growing?

How…?

The question changed.

But when I opened my heart to God all was revealed to me.

God was there all along.

From the moment before I was born—before I was formed in the womb—He knew me,

My heart.

My desires.

My gifts.

My purpose and reason.

Let this be a reminder to you here and now.

Your calling did not start today—It started before you were born.

And if you think yourself too young, too old, too inexperienced, too common, too much of a nobody you are wrong.

There is an energy that has always followed you wherever you have gone.

The devil sees it and wishes to steal it away.

But he cannot.

Every time he does you rise—ten times strong!

So, if you are sensing change – and maybe resisting it, that’s okay.

You know you feel it.

It’s coming whether you are ready or not.

But…

Do not be afraid.

God is with you.

He will rescue you.

He will make you stronger than strong.

Greater than great.

And this has been for your eyes to read because it’s time.

It’s time to step into your alignment.

I know it’s scary.

But don’t worry.

God will be with you every moment—every step of the way.

Fear nothing—not even the devil.

For God has conquered this world and He will remind you along the way.
