Witness, He sees You

Book of Micah 6:8

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” –Micah 6:8

The world is wicked.

But not all of it.

I’m just saying—do not be frightened.

This won’t linger so much in this mood for but a few more sentences.

I’m not a Debby-downer nor do I appreciate one around me.

So, heed me only for this moment.

Bear with me.

The world is wicked.

I repeat.

It can be cruel.

You see the rich constantly thriving.

Keeping their glory for their own and watching others go starving.

False idles and prophets that lead people astray.

Saying they will grant you your greatest riches and glory if you simply follow them and praise them.

Yeah, uh, no.

I know you see it.

I know we all see it.

I know you feel it.

And I want you to know you shouldn’t be scared.

God has cast His eyes upon the world, and He’s always been watching us.

Those of us being led astray.

He’s ready.

He’s working.

He’s moving His hand over His people.

All those who keep the faith and seek Him.

For He is not happy with watching His children suffer.

Not happy.

This is not warning, but me delivering you comfort.

Comfort.

“I will destroy your witchcraft, and you will no longer cast spells.” –Micah 5:12

Hear it, yet?

“Your rich people are violent; your inhabitants are liars and their tongues speak deceitfully. Therefore, I have begun to destroy of you, to ruin you because of your sins. You will eat but not be satisfied; your stomach will still be empty. You will store up but save nothing, because what you save I will give to the sword.”—Micah 6: 12-14

Hear me.

Be calm.

Be still.

This is never to scare you.

It’s to comfort you.

God is watching closely and He will do away with this injustice.

None of the bible is to be read to make you scared.

It’s for you to see what HE sees.

To see what HE is trying to show you.

To bring you comfort.

Not fear.

He is not scolding you.

He is angry with the deceitful and violent others.

Not you.

If you believe—truly believe then you know already.

Already knew.

God has proven countless times.

Proven it to you.

You specifically.

How do you keep getting by?

How do unexpected things keep happening that help—heal you?

Do you think God does not see you?

Because I know He does.

He’s shown you specifically because He wants to remind you that He is here.

With you.

Always.

Even amongst the hard and frightening times.

He’s getting ready to free you from this torment.

Be still.

BE calm.

You are and will be safe.

God will not let anything come to you that is not there to bless you.

The struggles? Build us.

The challenges? Prove us.

The blessings? Remind us.

He is always here to help and protect those who seek Him.

Just close your eyes.

Press your hand to your chest and take in a deep breath.

Feel it.

He is near.

Always.

Near you.

Never far.

“But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.” –Micah 7:7

Praise be to God!

Amen!
